‘It is fair to say if you want a bunch of lads handy with their instruments, then these are the guys for you. I've seen them all over the place - small intimate gigs in town pubs when I've least expected it to grand scale charity bashes or celebrity parties. Wherever the Eight Hands High turn up - and they seem to turn up everywhere - they quickly get the crowd behind them and it is not long before dancefloors are filled with the young and the old thanks to their mix of music. I can offer no better recommendation than to say if you are organising a party, a charity event or you want your pub to host a lively gig with a great bunch of lads, Eight Hands High are the band for you.’ John Stokoe, Whitby Gazette
